"Device is turned on/off" trigger not working for Light Switch device in Respond to Events
Use case:
I have an X10 Appliance module on address A1, for example. I also have an X10 remote controller, wall mounted, with button 1 mapped to device A1. When I press this button I want the appliance module to turn on, and also LMCE to see this and turn on another device, A2.
Problem:
If I add the device as a Light Switch On/Off device and then configure a rule in Respond to events, with the trigger "Device is turned on/off" then the rule is never triggered when the switch is operated.
Workaround:
Configure the wall mounted switch module on a separate device code (eg. B1) and set up as a Security Device/Motion Sensor in LMCE. Then configure a respond to events with trigger as "Sensor is tripped"
