Adding "nvida-settings -l" to the X startup scripts would give a more fluently video
On my testing with a Nvidia 8400gs and a 9600GT I had to change/add this line to /home/linuxmce/.nvidia-settings-rc
0/GPUScaling[start "nvida-settings -l" after starting X to get a more fluently video.
The default value is :
0/GPUScaling[DFP-0](DFP-0]=65538
and)=131073
Maybe thsi could be added to the startup af X. It could be tested with
lsmod | grep ^nvidia
if we have a Nvidia system and then run the command, something like this :
lsmod | grep ^nvidia >/dev/null 2>&1 && nvida-settings -l
